I do like Gan cubes, where did you get that info from? Also, I didn't like the original V1, I like my modded one.
Just wild guess, and
I have all these:
Tornado v3 Flagship/Pioneer, UV BC YS3M, UV BC WRM v9, Moretry Tianma X3 Snap, WR Maglev
Out of these 3x3s, my top recommendation is Moretry Tianma X3 Snap. Mine is set to 4th click and I main it, and the tornado v3 isn't even close. The UV BC WRM v9 somehow has similar performance, just that the price is like a double and the magnets are stupidly strong which is not adjustable and very hard to get use to.

The YS3M feels amazing but has problematic reverse. Nowhere as bad as the tornado v2, but reverse below line to line makes my PLLs catchy.

Overall I'd recommend Moretry Tianma X3 Snap, and if you have money and do not mind unadjustable super strong magnets, you may try out the WRM v9 as well.

Since you didn’t vote… which do you think is better?
I got my cube in the mail late. I'm torn up over this one. I think both are so different at first. They really are a blank canvas for you to lube and personalize. To give a definitive answer, the YS3M better, more versatile for me. They are really are two different kinds of cubes out of the box though. I have all ball core versions of the cubes, so that's what I'll be referring to throughout my thoughts below. Non-UV YS3M, UV YS3M, and UV Weilong V9.

The V9 is very light, and airy like a GAN 13 or Tornado V3, especially the GAN. The YS3M is more like a Moyu cube we've grown to know very well. I run my YS3M relatively tight. Non-UV YS3M last night I was doing runs at 4 clicks, and a quarter turn from the factory tension (YS3M), just how I like that cube with my go to lube set up. The V9 I found myself wanting to get it tighter and tighter to gain control of it (and add more gravitas or Traxxas 1M wt. Then I realized, that Its just a different cube all together. It needs to be turned with a different style, very light and a soft touch. It has the strongest auto alignment I've ever seen in a cube. Mixed feelings about that part, but after 15 or so solves, I started to make adjustments. I adjusted my turning style to the cube rather than to adjust the cube to my turning. I wiped out all of the lube and started over. I started to get much faster times out of the V9 then. I landed on a very light angstrom lube job with only 2 drops of DNM-137 and single drop of 338cST Silicone.

Honest opinion, if you have a UV YS3M, I wouldn't buy a V9, way too similar for my taste (not out of the box, but they can be set up the same). I like collecting different cubes, so I didn't mind picking up another. You could make a case if you have the non-UV YS3M, to me it does have a different feel than the UV coated one. If you like extremely fast cubes, you'll love the V9. You can make the YS3M UV, just about as fast with lighter tensions and a smooth and fast lube job. It just won't be as clicky, because it lacks stronger magnets and extra edge magnets. I wiped out my UV coated version of the YS3M and loosened it up, and tried to see if I could get the same "feel". They were very close, blind folded, I can tell them apart for sure. I can't tell my times apart when they are set up the same though. The corner twisting is really a big thing though for the V9. Believe the internet on that one. I rarely have corner twist, I twisted 4 times in 40 solves last night with the V9. After I changed up my turning, it was much better though. I find that if I solve a lot in day, I tend to like lighter cubes like the Gan 13, TV3, and V9; I get repetitive movement pain in the wrist, and the V9 is a god send when that happens. All in all, I like both cubes, but YS3M as a winner, its cheaper and I think more versatile.

Tornado V3 is pretty good for somebody with a light turning style, as it is soft and flows well. The YS3M is similar to the tornado V3, except it has a little bit more of a blocky feeling. For which one I'd prefer, I'd prefer the Tornado V3, but I like both. In terms of breakage though, the YS3M is a lot better. My tornado V3 has had the white-blue-orange corner break 2 times, and a lot of other people have reported core stripping issues.

Both thecubicle and speedcubeshop are really good shops imo. I've ordered from both in the past, and get acceptably good service from both companies. Both owners have really cool stories behind their shops too. I live very close to the cubicle, so I order from there, but I'll use speedcubeshop if the cubicle is out of or doesn't have something.

i order from both, it depends on prices
but, service from scs hasn't been the best for me

I want to get a new cube but I’m stuck on these 2 options. I’ve heard good things from both. If there isn’t decent amount of responses, I’ll get the cheapest one.

Edit: added Tornado v3
Edit 2: does anyone have all 3 cubes?
I have all 3, and weilong v9 is def my favorite. It will need a bit of setup but it is awesome because it is fast but controllable (my setup is martian, galaxy, and scs weight 4)
YS3M is too slow and blocky in my opinion, and TV3 (I have pioneer version) is also, like the wrm v9, uncontrollable out of the box but can kinda be fixed. TV3 is really customizable, but the corner cutting is kinda mid even on loosest tensions.

Here are my ranks (1 = best 3 = worst):

1. WRM v9
2. TV3
3. YS3M

Dont get me wrong I like the ys3m but it just doesnt have as good of a feel as the wrm v9, and is lacking the customizability of the tv3.

Edit: YS3M can get much better with some fast lube, it is a very good cube and its kinda up to preference. I recommend the v9 though if you like fast cubes.
