Hello and welcome back to Week in Review!
Here is a weekly update on notable results from the 27 competitions in Week 37. This week saw the Slovenian Nationals, quite an array of quiet competitions with PBQtah 4, La Florita Mental Breakdown, Szansa Cubing Open Warsaw and Kryivka PBQ, which in addition to the U24 Open September were the first Ukraine competitions to take place since the Ukraine War began.

Here is a weekly update on notable results from the 27 competitions in Week 37. This week saw the Slovenian Nationals, quite an array of quiet competitions with PBQtah 4, La Florita Mental Breakdown, Szansa Cubing Open Warsaw and Kryivka PBQ, which in addition to the U24 Open September were the first Ukraine competitions to take place since the Ukraine War began.

Here are the top records of the week:
- Jacob Chambers broke the Clock World Record Average with 3.56 Seconds at Droitwich Spa Autumn! this lowers the record by 0.25 seconds and reclaims the top spot for Flip, giving Cham their first WR (+ I got to see it live making it extra amazing
)!
- Zayn Khanani broke the 2x2 North American Record Single with 0.50 Seconds at Babylon Summer! This 5-mover beats Luke Garrett's 0.51 5-mover from 2 weeks ago, and is only 0.01 behind the longest standing WR in cubing!
- In Jacob Chambers' Clock WR Average, they also achieved a European Record Single of 3.16 Seconds! This places 2nd in the World and clutched the WR Average!
- Yanchen Zhu (朱彦臣) set a new Skewb Asian Record Average of 1.79 Seconds at Nanaimo Back to School! This breaks his own AsR by over half a second and is the first non-American to break the sub-2 barrier!
- Radomił Baran tied the FMC Polish Record Mean of 22.67 Moves at the Szansa Cubing Open Warsaw! This ties with Cyprian Kalbarczyk's mean from the European Championship, and places 8th in the world!
- Nicholas Archer broke the OH United Kingdom Record Average with 10.17 Seconds at Droitwich Spa Autumn! This places 3rd in Europe and was his second consecutive NR Average this competition!
- Gergely Novotni set a new Megaminx Hungarian Record Average of 36.30 Seconds at the Slovenian Nationals! This keeps Gergely at 8th in Europe and is his ninth competition getting a Megaminx NR in a row since his first NR in 2019!
- Also at this competition Alexey Tsvetkov tied his own 2x2 Russian Record Average of 1.27 Seconds! This keeps Alexey at 6th in the world, and although he competes all over eastern Europe and western Asia both NR Averages were set in Slovenia!
- Krzysztof Bober set a new MBLD European Record Single of 51/55 solved in 58:06 at the Szansa Cubing Open Warsaw! This breaks the 3 record streak of 46 points and keeps Krzysztof at 3rd in the world!
- In Gergely Novotni's Megaminx NR Average, he also achieved a Hungarian Record Single of 32.72 Seconds! This places 7th in Europe!

- Brendyn Dunagan - 11.86 OH Average at Diamond Bar September. His previous PB was 15.57, and this places 25th in the United States, 29th in North America and 111th in the World!
- Daniel Partridge - 2.35 Pyraminx Average (United Kingdom Record) at Droitwich Spa Autumn. His previous PB was 2.58, and this places 20th in Europe and 56th in the World!
- Daniel Wallin - 41/41 58:04 MBLD Single (Swedish Record) at the Szansa Cubing Open Warsaw. His previous PB was 36/39 in 59:53, and this places 5th in Europe and 12th in the World!
- Hoàng Hà Thủy Tiên - 27.10 4x4 Average at the Hanoi Open. Her previous PB was 30.19, and this places 2nd in Vietnam, 13th in Asia and 41st in the World!
- Ihor Sukhovatenko (Ігор Суховатенко) - 12.95 OH Average at the U24 Open September. His previous PB was 14.85, and this places 4th in the Ukraine, 80th in Europe and 244th in the World!
43.68 Megaminx Average. His previous PB was 1:06.27, and this places 4th in the Ukraine, 31st in Europe and 105th in the World!
- Leon Marcell Alamanda - 55.18 5x5 Average at Taman Anggrek Speedcubing B. His previous PB was a 3:25.37 single, and this places 4th in Indonesia, 42nd in Asia and 120th in the World!
- Mark Ostrom - 2:37.11 7x7 Mean at Droitwich Spa Autumn. His previous PB was 2:45.00, and this places 2nd in the United Kingdom, 33rd in Europe and 116th in the World!
- Robbie Villarica - 56.68 5x5 Average at Diamond Bar September. His previous PB was 1:06.14, and this places 5th in the Philippines, 58th in Asia and 162nd in the World!
- Sam Shaw - 5.40 Clock Average at Droitwich Spa Autumn. Their previous PB was 5.95, and this places 2nd in the United Kingdom, 11th in Europe and 38th in the World!
- Veenayak Bhola - 2.47 Pyraminx Average at the Delhi Big Cube Open. His previous PB was 2.61, and this places 3rd in India, 16th in Asia and 78th in the World!
- Vladyslav Hryniuk (Владислав Гринюк) - 39.92 Megaminx Average at the U24 Open September. His previous PB was 46.95, and this places 2nd in the Ukraine, 16th in Europe and 53rd in the World!
