Hello and welcome back to Week in Review! Releasing this one a bit late as this weekend I had a great time competing at the Classic Tetris UK Championship! I had the majority of this ready beforehand, but barely had any hints of free time to get it finished over the past couple days. I hope you still enjoy all the same!

Here are the top records of the week:
- Zayn Khanani set a new Skewb World Record Average of 1.56 Seconds at Pretzel Mania! This breaks the previous WR by 0.17 seconds making it the biggest percentage drop since Łukasz Burliga's 2.03 average all the way back in 2017, and is the first time the Skewb WR average has ever been faster than Pyraminx!
- Luke Garrett tied the 2x2 North American Record Single of 0.51 Seconds at Cubing in the Ville! This ties with Sameer Aggarwal's time from 2019 at 2nd in the world and is Luke's first record after 99 competitions!
- Tristan Chua Yong set a new Megaminx Asian Record Single of 26.66 Seconds at the YJ Malaysia Cube Open! This places 3rd in the world and is Tristan's second consecutive round getting the AsR single after breaking it in the final of his previous competition!
- Also at the Malaysia Cube Open, Hill Pong Yong Feng broke the 5BLD Asian Record Single with 2:32.30! This breaks Kaijun Lin's record streak since his 6:07.13 success over 6 years ago, and places Hill Pong 2nd in the World!
- Tymon Kolasiński set a new 7x7 European Record Mean of 1:55.20 at the Danish Championship! This keeps Tymon at 2nd in the world and is his 20th Continental Record across five different events!
- Kai-Wen Wang (王楷文) set a new 5x5 Asian Record Average of 42.50 Seconds at the Maru Cube Day! Kai-Wen has set an AsR for 5x5 at all 3 competitions he's had 5x5 at in 2022, and places 4th in the world with this average!
- Lim Hung (林弘) set a new 7x7 Malaysian Record Mean of 2:03.32 at the Malaysia Cube Open! This places 7th in the world!
- In addition to Tristan Chua Yong's AsR Single for Megaminx, Firstian Fushada (符逢城) achieved a new Indonesian Record Average of 33.98 Seconds! This places 11th in the World!
- In an earlier round of 7x7, Lim Hung also achieved a new Malaysian Record Single of 1:57.55! This places 12th in the world and is Lim's first sub-2 single officially!
- Liam Wadek broke the Clock Oceanic Record Single of 3.50 Seconds at the NZ North Island Championship! This lowers the record by 0.69 Seconds and places Liam 11th in the world with his first OcR!

- Ahmad Ilham Salahuddeen Bin Anuar - 2:37.81 7x7 Mean at the Malaysia Cube Open. His previous PB was 3:10.16, and this places him 5th in Malaysia, 44th in Asia and 120th in the World!
- Ang Chin Zhen (洪靖程) - 24.00 FMC Mean (Malaysian Record) at the Malaysia Cube Open. His previous PB was 30.33, and this places him 6th in Asia and 25th in the World!
- Elyas Eyou - 1.53 2x2 Average (Oceanic Record) at the NZ North Island Championship. His previous PB was 1.96, and this places him 44th in the World!
- Jingqi Zhang - 41.88 Megaminx Average at the Danish Championship. This is his first time competing in Megaminx, and this places him 6th in China, 20th in Asia and 73rd in the World!
- Maksymilian Piskorowski - 38.75 Megaminx Average at the Danish Championship. His previous PB was 45.81, and this places him 3rd in Poland, 11th in Europe and 36th in the World!
- Maxime Madrzyk - 21.11 3BLD Single at the Champagne Open. His previous PB was 22.84, and this places him 2nd in France, 20th in Europe and 65th in the World!
- Natthaphat Mahtani (ณัฐภัทร จี มาทานี) - 43.68 Megaminx Average (Thai Record) at the Malaysia Cube Open. His previous PB was 47.10, and this places him 31st in Asia and 103rd in the World!
- Ng Jia Quan (黄佳铨) - 12.22 OH Average at the Malaysia Cube Open. His previous PB was 14.20, and this places him 2nd in Malaysia, 42nd in Asia and 139th in the World!
43.82 Megaminx Average. His previous PB was 52.08, and this places him 3rd in Malaysia, 33rd in Asia and 105th in the World!
- Shih-Hao Wang (王士豪) - 12.87 OH Average at the Maru Cube Day. His previous PB was 13.89, and this places him 5th in Taiwan, 72nd in Asia and 229th in the World!
- Tan Kwan Yang - 12.67 OH Average at the Malaysia Cube Open. His previous PB was 13.57, and this places him 3rd in Malaysia, 59th in Asia and 197th in the World!
- Toby Seufert - 7.04 3x3 Average at the Runaway Bay Saturday Challenge. His previous PB was 7.48, and this places him 6th in Australia, 8th in Oceania and 120th in the World!
- Tristan Chua Yong - 1:40.10 6x6 Mean at the Malaysia Cube Open. His previous PB was 1:47.21, and this places him 2nd in Singapore, 22nd in Asia and 67th in the World!
