Records
- Zayn Khanani broke the Skewb World Record Single with 0.81 Seconds at the Rubik's WCA North American Championship! This beats the first ever sub-1 from the World Championship 2019 by a whole 0.12 seconds!
- In a later round at this competition, Zayn also achieved a World Record Average for Skewb of 1.73 Seconds! This makes Zayn the first person to hold both single and average WRs for skewb simultaneously since Jonatan Kłosko in October 2017!
- Also at NA Champs, Elliott Kobelansky tied his 3BLD Canadian Record Single of 14.63 Seconds! Whilst he has again missed the world record by 0.02 seconds, he is still 2nd in the world and is undoubtedly a huge contender for his first world record if Tommy Cherry doesn't improve it soon!
- Ciarán Beahan Broke the 6x6 European Record Mean with 1:16.90 at Stevenage Summer! This beats his previous mean by almost 5 seconds, and puts him back at 2nd in the world!
- In this 6x6 mean, Ciarán also broke the European Record Single of 1:11.89! This also places 2nd in the world, and if not for having 2 parities would've very likely been Ciarán's first world record!
- Nicolas Naing set a new Megaminx North American Record Average of 30.62 Seconds at the North American Championship! Despite only improving it by 0.05 seconds, this is his 2nd weekend in a row with a new NAR Average and keeps Nicolas at 4th in the world!
- In addition to his Record single, Elliott Kobelansky also achieved a 3BLD Canadian Record Mean of 15.98 Seconds! As with a lot of records this week, Elliott moves to 2nd in the world with this result and other than Tommy Cherry is the only person within a second of the WR mean!
- Charlie Eggins Broke the 3BLD Oceanic Record Single with 15.78 Seconds at Abbotsford Blind Challenge! This is Charlie's first Oceanic Record and breaks Jack Cai's 5-year streak of having this record!
- Leandro Martín López Set a new Megaminx Argentinian Record Single of 27.54 Seconds at the Mega Open Ciudadela! This places 4th in the World!
- Caleb Trelford set a new Clock North American Record Average of 4.23 Seconds at the North American Championship! This keeps him at 4th in the world!
