Webshops that sell DIY type A cubes

[wijszman]

I live in The Netherlands and I want to get a DIY Type A cube, I've read that this seems to be one of the best cubes.

Of course I've consulted google for this but since some sites do not explicitly state what kind of cube it is I thought I'd ask here if someone knows a good webshop that sells this cube (preferably in Europe since shipping from the US takes long and the package can get lost).

Any suggestions?

ok,

but which cube is the orignal type a? Is that the one with the roman number 1?

i.e. this one http://cube4you.com/product-571.html ?

What do the roman numbers mean, is there a big difference in versions or something ?

First, let me introduce you to this. And yes, that is Old Type A-I. I had one, and I didn't like it all that much. I could never get the right tensions, even after like 4 hours of readjusting.

Ah thanks for that link, I'll read up on that.

Is there another cube atm that is considered to be the best overall cube? Or does it always come down to personal preference?

Type C-II and Type F-II are very good also. In my opinion they are better then type As. Ive tried them all.

When I first joined the forums, I thought type A's were the best too because I read a lot of threads where people really liked them. Although, I think they were old threads, and people have changed their likings.

It really does come down to personal preference, but from what I've been hearing lately, the cubes that most people like at the moment are Type C and Edison I think.

Personally, I like Cube4You cubes, or Cube4You frame with Type C cubies.
But that's just me.
They aren't exactly.. "GODLY" to me, but I'm sticking with them for now.
I haven't explored every cube, but I'm happy with my main speedcube for now.

Good luck on your journey trying to find YOUR main speedcube.
