I was not sure whether to put this here or in official competitions...anyway:
At competition, before I go to do my first round of solves for any puzzle, I wipe off the puzzle, give it to the scramblers, wash my hands, and come back to solve. I prefer to do this because I can't handle a sticky-ish cube that well (especially in OH). So at San Francisco yesterday I did this at the OH competition and I went to the table for inspection. I pick up the cube and it feels fine, but when I try to manuever it, (whole cube turns) The cube either sticks to my hands or I almost drop it. (This made my solves terribly inconsistent).
My point is that that scramblers should wash their gosh darn hands before scrambling -.- They had food on the other table which they ate, then wiped their hands off on a napkin, (which I think doesn't get rid of the oils on their hands form the food) then scrambled my cube.
I am sorry that this is a somewhat picky thread, but it just annoys the heck outta me

Any of you had the something like this happen?
