This is a really random idea I got today when I was using CCT as a timer for anything I felt like. It's sort of fun to take a break from normal solving and it might be a decent warm-up if you're just going to be doing random cubing. Pick a couple of puzzles or events, and then take an average of 12, but do a few of each and lump them all together. For example:
The 2345 Relay: 3 of 2x2x2, 3 of 3x3x3, 3 of 4x4x4, 3 of 5x5x5
Caltech Style: 4 of 3x3x3, 4 of 3x3x3 OH, 4 of 3x3x3 BLD
Side Events: 3 Square-1, 3 Pyraminx, 3 Megaminx, 3 Clock
2 Fast: 2 Magic, 2 Master Magic, 2 Snake, 2 2x2x2, 2 Pyraminx, 2 T-perm
I'm not that warmed up right now, but I tried a 2345 Relay one and got 48.83:
(5.03) 8.22 5.87 14.05 20.03 16.73 1:11.68 59.39 1:11.49 1:48.66 1:52.22 (2:06.66)
Give it a try, it's more fun than you'd think
