[Help Thread] Volt Square-1 Loosening

I've been having problems with my X-man Volt Squan recently. It seems to loosen when I solve it and every few solves I have to tighten it. A few months ago I lost the little washer that goes on after the spring. Does that have something to do with it?

I’ve had this happen to both of my square 1s and it’s very common. You could also use paper if you need to but it’s better to just do what @THERAGINGCYCLOPS says
