V Cube 5x5 Binding Hard

I bought a V cube 5x5 brand new in the box and it's extremely hard to turn every layer. I contacted the seller on eBay and he said I have to take it apart and lube it and adjust the tension. I replied back with I think it's defective. He sent me a full refund so I got a free cube out of the deal. Only problem is it binds. Is there a way to fix this somehow? I'm new to V Cube and this put a sour taste in my mouth. Any suggestions on what I should do would be helpful. Thanks.

The real question is why not a <$10 better 5x5 like a YuChuang or Yuxin Cloud? Unless you're super new to cubing and dont fully know the hardware options.

I got a QiYi WuShuang 5x5 from Cubicle ibhavent received yet but I just wanted to make this V Cube usable. I'm fairly new to cubing.

After you get the QiYi you won't have any desire to use the V-cube ever again, but if it really is defective then I don't think there's really anything you can do.
