V Cube 5 center cap?

So I just recently bought a V Cube 5, I got it 2 days ago. The black center piece just popped off, so I took it apart and it looks like the rivet is a little bent (not 100% sure), and the gap between the two plastic parts (where the metal rod thingy normally shows) is gone. When I try to press the piece back into the space, the piece pushes the rivet and recreates the gap. If I emailed v-cubes.com, would they either send me a new cube or a new core (I shaved off the bumps on the corners already)? Is there a way to fix the rivet?

BTW, the v-cubes.com website doesn't seem to be working, or is it just my connection?

Sorry that I can't really help you with most of your question, but the V-Cube website isn't working for me either. It's been loading for like five minutes with no progress.

They normally replace things as long as you've ordered within the last 30 days or something. The website works for me; you can try e-mailing [email protected] if the website won't load for you.

If I ordered off Amazon, what should I do? Could I still go through the company, or would I have to go through Amazon?
