For some backstory, at Asians 2024 my skewb solve was +2ed for "chopping" while stopping the timer. I clearing know that I didn't chop while stopping the timer. So I've been thinking about this for a while whether I should start solving on 4-pad to improve my timer stops. Please feel free to give me suggestions.

Yes train your timer stops with 4 pad

Did you Asians judge make the right call while giving the penalty?

A good thing is to call the delegate and also write to WRC about this incident.

4-pad mode practising is good, but I feel it is not necessary yo.

Yes, you can do this to help your time stops.
However, if you know you didnt chop when stopping your timer, you could just film solves at comp instead.

I did this at my comp last weekend and it helped alot.
This is because :
- I think i got a funny recording of multiple delegates trying to determine whether or not my skewb solve ended 1 move off or not.
- I believed i had a misscramble as 2 of them were very similar to one another, my video recording helped find out if it was or not (it wasnt somehow)
