I thought it would be fun to take an average of all really easy scrambles. I took 12 from the scramble sticky and did an average. Of course it's obvious the outcome means virtually nothing, but it's still fun taking an average with 4 sub-10s and 3 sub-9s. :)

Here are my crappy results and the scrambles I used if you want to try it:

The first one was amazing, I got a PLL skip.
Some of the scrambles where I got over 18 seconds did not look that great.

It is fun to get really good times from the easy scrambles other people post.
I have over 9000 easy scrambles (cross and/or 2x2x2 skipped), do you want them?

Is that just a coincidence?
Nope.

Where did you get them all from?
I used a program that generates 25-move scrambles, but only keeps the easy ones. Which is exactly what people are doing in the easy scrambles thread, except a bit faster and automated and using a simple definition of "easy".

I really don't see the point in that, but if others do, cool. Here you go: http://laire.dy.fi/t/lame_scrambles.txt.

Easy scrambles are pointless. Just do a hand scramble with only FRU or do 2x2 scramble on a 3x3.
What would be interesting is a hard scramble list.
A list of scrambles that has a minimum depth of 7 moves for 2x2x2 block and cross. How can someone generate that?

Maybe these would be good as warm up scrambles. Personally, whenever I start a session, my times aren't really good. But once I get just one good time, then it becomes much easier, and my times get better. So maybe just use like 3 of these at the beginning of each session, clear the times, and then use normal scrambles.

And that is a lot of scrambles on that page.
