Ordered a tornado v2 a few days back, and have now received it! Here’s some images of the unboxing:

So, immediately out of the box, it’s pretty good. I feel the slightly smaller size but it’s perfect for me. Slightly lubed, some on the cube’s surface. Quiet. I wouldn’t say it’s ultra quiet, but quieter than my tengyun v2, and certainly lower pitched, which is nice.
The colour scheme is also good, and fits well with the black internals. Very vibrant, although the white is very slightly cream. Quite stiff tensions OOTB, but it’s still decently fast and controllable. Corner cutting in theory isn’t great, maybe 35 normal, 25 reverse, but the small cuts are nice, a little snappy. Probably going to adjust the tensions anyway. Looks kind of like a Gan cube, actually.

That’s it for my unboxing, I’ll update this with a review soon enough when I’ve set it up!

Edit: Broken it in, lubed it, and found the best settings for me. I did around 50 solves, and lubed it with a combination of Adheron, Lubest XMT-10, and CL Silk. It’s really smooth now, kind of cushiony and pretty much silent. My best settings were actually just 1 for everything (weakest). Even on the low settings, it’s decently stable, and on the high settings, it’s almost a brick in terms of stability. The magnets are also adjusted by changing distance, which doesn’t affect strength as much as physical changes, so the weak settings are still decent.

Overal, it’s a 4.5, great allrounder, but not being able to lube the core and the slightly snappy corner cutting (50 30 now with lubing and loose tensions) brings it down slightly. A main cube regardless!
