I'm gonna wait until some US stores stock it, that way it will be cheaper. but I definitely will try it if the initial reviews are good.

I am actually waiting for it in the US because it tends to get here quicker than even those who order from Witeden at the get go. Its really tempting to buy one though....

i just bought it, couldnt wait. how will it be here quicker if you order from the US? first you have to wait for the cubes to come in, then for them to ship it, and then 2-4 days for the cube to get to you. the only way it would be quicker is if that US store buys faster EMS/DHL shipping

WIteden takes 10-35 days to get it to you, most US based places only take 2-4 days, so if the US stores get them in stack within a week or two I will still get it faster than Witeden.

I'm assuming that since Witeden makes type C the US stores will be buying wholesale from Witeden. So I should get mine they same time as them unless they opted for faster shipping.
I could be wrong but that was my thinking.

I ordered it on Wednesday from witeden, should be here in a few more days and then I'll let you know.

hope it gets to you soon. i like smooth cubes. do you think this will be good. pm if when you get it if you think it can be made smooth. i only average sub 40. my main is a zhanchi lubed with lubix... mother of all lubes

After some misunderstanding with my local post office, I have recieved my C4 cube!

I have lubed it with CRC and tensioned it to my liking and have done an average of 5. On first look the cube is very light weight, it feels hollow and almost cheap, it is difficult to put in the edges on a tight tension and stickers are low quality but nice shades. As for pros, it IS fast, it feels like an improved AV-f, it is a good cube. The biggest issue though is the lock-ups, like CrazyBadCuber said the corners lock up on the centers and it will destroy your flow of the solve. If there is a way to stop the lock-ups this cube could be brilliant, considering it is already very good. One final note is that the pieces and stickers are more round than a Zhanchi or a more squared off cube in general.

I solved mine for about half an hour at lunch today.
I also lock up when the corners overlap the centers. The corners have a ledge which is not good. Some times two opposite corners both overlap the center and the center twists.
The cube is also very bumpy. As you turn a face you can feel some stops along the way. My Wit 2 is also bumpy like this. This may go away with some breaking in.

It can cut slightly more than 45 degrees and reverse cuts a full piece line to line. During a solve however it's can't the corner ledges interferes too much.
It kid of reminds me of a cross between the F3 and Wit 2.

The sad thing is that it can't be modded to fix it's locking issues. The plastic is already gone.

It catches about as much as a LinHui but is more severe when it does. I got terrible times with it. +5 more than normal every time.

I also got mine yesterday (DIY) and I sanded down the part that crazy cuber recommended and it seems to have helped a lot. Also, keeping the cube looser really helps to lessen the lockups. I keep my cube at the point the the screws are almost out to the lip of the center peice. Besides the lock ups I LOVE THIS CUBE!!!! I lubed it lubix style and also used jigaloo which helped to further soften the lock ups. The corner cutting is just ridiculous and doing algs feels absolutely gorgeous i.e. almost never lock up when going full speed. This cube definitely reminded me of a A-V/ Alpha CC, but without any of the pops or corner twists. The lack of corner twisting actually surprises me because I have my cube really loose and it still twists less than my lingyun 2. Very nice cube and the more I use it the less it seems to lock up. I completely recommend this cube to anyone. I might try modding the centers a bit with som light sanding near the top to see it that helps, but this cube is so nice it is worth the occasional lock up. Ill let you guys know if I do and my results. I highly recomend the mod I did though, it takes forever, but even when I do lock up I can normally just force through without much trouble.
