This competition has 175 competitors, and has 3 round of 2x2 and skewb, and has 4 rounds of 3x3.

Anybody going to this competition?

So this comp ended up being an actual nightmare for the organizers…

To start off, one of the delegates called in sick and as a result a delegate had to organize and delegate the entire thing by himself.

This competition ended up getting a lot of newcomers, and only had beginner-friendly events, each with many rounds to them.

Because of this, many new competitors made the next rounds and there was a significant lack of judges. When the finals rolled around, there were a lot of new competitors because the finals were super easy to make. This made it such that almost every experienced competitor had to judge for all of the final round groups that they weren’t competing in.

To add on to this, one kid tried to cheat by turning the cube after getting a +2 and claimed that he didn’t +2. Luckily, the judge was experienced and called over a delegate. The same kid tried to take a lost puzzle yet when asked the brand, he gave the wrong brand name.

Overall, this was a very bad situation.

So that's what happened... I didn't see Evan Liu on WCA Live and I was confused lol...

That also meant that Zach Ridall had to do everything, and he is a junior delegate, so yeah it might've been hard.
