I can identify which A-perm should I use, the clockwise or the counterclockwise.. Is there an easy way for detection?

I look at the left side, if the edge piece is the opposite to the face it's anti-clockwise, if the edge piece isn't (then it would be to go onto the front/back depending what way you hold your cube to do the clockwise algorithm) then it's clockwise.

isn't the A-perm the corner 3-cycle? O.o

the way I do it is to put the 2 corners that have the same color in the front...then I just look if they'll cycle to the left or to the righ
Put the 2x2x1 on the F face
Then you'll have 1 of these 2 cases:
1. See if the corner that needs to be switched shares a color with the edge piece it's next to.(the edge piece on R or L face, depending on which algorithm you use)
2. The corner is opposite colors of the 2 edges it's next to.
