Torrian's Cubing Progression // Starting 6x6

So my 6x6 ended up coming sooner than expected!

I have just opened it am and excited to try solving it for the first time (which I think I'll time to see how I do).

However it could do with a bit of lubing. What lube works best in big cubes? The ones I have are silk, mystic, and maru water-based lube.

So in total I spent about 20 minutes trying to solve it and am proud that I managed to complete every step (I did get a little stuck on the centres at one point). However I did end up getting 2 different parities, one in which the final edge pair is unsolvable and the second where 2 of the edges in the top layer are swapped. Therefore I'll have to search up the algorithms as i couldnt figure them out myself.

So after watching a J Perm video (for the first time in ages) I did my first timed solve and got 10:34! Not bad if I do say so myself

I'm getting back into 6x6, haven't really practiced
I used Lunar in my MGC 4x4 and it was great, idk how well it would work on the 6x6

Just got my first sub-10 single of 9:29!!

Just got another PB of 8:41.73, it had triple parity.

So after a couple more solves my PB single is 7:48.64 and MO3 is 8:13.42.

I just got a PB single of 6:54.42 and a PB MO3 of 7:10.82!

Just had the craziest 3x3 sessions, I tied my PB single with another 13.32, I got a PB MO3 of 15.13 and a PB AO5 if 16.53!

I knew I wanted the AoShi, but dang

For my first 6x6 it performs fine, surprised it hasn't popped yet actually.
Will probably upgrade to the AoShi after a month's or 2.

I got my MGC in late September and it has popped 7 times, (albeit mostly small pops), i think the MGC line can be quite hit and miss sometimes

At what point should I consider learning a proper method? Also which should I start with out of redux, yau, and hoya?
