First of all, sry if this is a repost, the search didn't work on my phone -_-

I need some tips for practice F and B turns. I currently suck at them.
For some stupid reason I always regrip for B moves and it slows me down allot. F moves are just generally slow :p

Would be nice to get some things to practice to get faster at them.

Not really a tip, but two fingertricks I used for F on a regular basis are:

F thumb flick: Pinky covering DL and a bit of the centre, forefinger resting on UL and a bit of the centre, other fingers normal grip on BL, use the pad of your thumb to push the FDL corner up towards UFL. Your pad ought to be pushing on the apex or the edge of the corner. Really useful for finishing V perms, or starting the F R' F R2 U' etc Y perm, or OLLs like F R' F' R U R U' R'.

F' push: Executed the same as if you were pushing RUB with your index in normal grip, except thumb is on DR instead of FR (and you push RFU instead obviously). Great for J perms and quite a lot of other PLLs.

I don't really have much for B moves, it's faster generally to regrip I think. You can finish the r' U r U r' U' r B U' B' OLL by doing a slight regrip to push DBR with your index and then move your thumb during the U' and push down on URB. Erik has a vid of it I think.

F' thumb push requires practice. At first, I was able to do it about 30% of the time but the other times I would just end up doing f' or something like that. I can do it without thinking now. I think you should try and learn to do this fingertrick. Use Rowan's advice and you can practice by learning a couple of Last Layer algs and a few F2L algs that require F' moves and see if you can learn to do them with the fingertricks.
Hope this helps :D

I don't actually use the F' thumb push too much - I mean the F push here!

R' U R' d' R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R F

First F' is index push, first F is the usual index flick and the last F is thumb push on FDR corner to finish :)

Definitely, I've been through so many different execution styles for individual turns in different contexts (and thus basically every alg I know) that sometimes I get confused and do things incorrectly...

I'd recommend you learn your OLL executions through Breandan's vid, and learn your PLLs from people like Feliks to start with the best turning habits. As well as the F turns I listed and the LH index push on LBU I use for U, I'd also recommend using U2' doubleflick with your LH, especially for algs like Sune, and it's very useful during f2l (I know Feliks does it also). I don't know how fast you are so these might feel quite 'technical' but playing with them until you can use them in solves will help reduce one barrier in getting faster :)

Ah right! Sorry, I misunderstood. I watched your video, I might re-learn a few algs with those finger/thumbtricks. Thank you! :D
