I'm happy with the 1st, 2nd and last solve. The 3.69 was suuuuper easy, so I hate having it counting.

Still, a good average for me. 11th in the world atm, single isn't in the top 100 though :(

3.66, 3.88, 3.69, (4.78), (3.34) = 3.74

My 4.31 average was filmed and is probably a better average in terms of TPS/skill as the scrambles were average.

hmmm notbad. There were 5 sub 4 averages that weekend :)

Thanks, but it's reminiscent of your 3.01 average... a fail on a super easy scramble that counted. Looking ahead and being able to one look the solve adds so much pressure as I was instantly thinking "this is an easy mid 1". Here was scramble:
B L' B' L B' U R' L' R' L' U' u r' b'

Solution is 7/8 moves depending on cancels. 8/3.69 moves = 2.2 TPS... (I didn't cancel because it would be awkward to fingertrick)
5th solution is 15 moves, with a slight recognition pause. 15/3.34 = 4.5 TPS.

My next Pyra comp is in January, I might practise a bit but I'm guessing it's only one round so I'll fail :p

Sexy solves. Go Go sub 3! :D

I want to get faster at Pyra, but I'm first in Oce by quite a bit now, Jason is fast enough to beat it, but he'd have to have absolutely no failing AND good scrambles. I need to improve single and average sum of ranks. I was 3rd comfortably a couple of months ago.

What's your global average usually around? Sub 3.5?

About 3.9-4.3 I get low 3 averages at home pretty frequently, but in big averages I generally get lots of 5s which list the average sup 4.

It's weird, I shake a lot, turn slowly yet my last 3 PB comp averages (5.43->4.96->3.74) have all been faster than my global average.

How on earth does that happen? :P tips on controlling nerves better please? :D
