Edit: A suggestion, I know all pro's cubes are different, but what if the person who was sending the cube could request how they want it to feel when it was returned (i.e. smooth, easy to turn, doesn't pop).

Isn't this everyone's request? I'm sure all the pro's adjust their cube to feel like this, it's just slightly different for everyone. You also forgot the universal request of "cuts corners well".

The other thing to consider is the cost. It takes time to break in a cube. Even if you said 4 hours, what would you pay for that service? Would you even pay the person minimum wage? Seriously, $10 for a few hours work isn't going to get someone's attention. Add in shipping, and it's just a crappy deal all the way around.

here's a tip for you about adjustin tensions

screw all the sides to the tighest, then start adjustin the tension of the 6 sides at the same time. turn the screw 90 degree each time just to tune the approximate tension. when you got the right tesion, fine tune the tension of each side for no more than +/-180 degree
