The Worst Cube

This cube is kinda the worst, but I say the QiYi M Pro 2x2 BC
I literally spent $10 on this on SCS, hoping I’d get a good deal of a ball-core 2x2, but it got wasted.
It’s so slow, even with tensioning, it sucked, so I have to use my MP 2x2 stil…

The yuxin little magic magnetic 4x4. The first one was broken and they had to send me a new one. Turned like a v cube 6. disgusting cube. I no longer have this cube as of last night. It had a horrible fate.

If we include old cubes, it would have to be the Dayan Panshi. It would break corners constantly and it basically killed the Dayan 3x3 brand after it had huge success with the guhong and zhanchi.
Honorable mention is the Maru 4x4 which could have misaligned centers. That probably doesn't even make sense but it's like if you don't have a fixed 2x2 corner so an internal middle "slice" can be unaligned. Even the Rubik's 4x4s never had that problem (they were ball core I think)

I mained that cube for like 2 years and I never had any problems with it. It's still one of my favorites and I love the feel of it.

Well, Its the worst in my opinion, mine just sucked for some reason. I have no idea why.

The Lanlan skewb. In 2014 and prior, there were extremely limited options for side events. MoYu was revolutionary with their Skewb and Pyraminx, as the florian modded Shengshou was no longer the default pyra option. Clock had Rubik's and LingAo, Skewb had Meffert's, Lanlan, Shengshou(?), Square-1 had CubeTwist, Calvin's, and MF8; you get the idea.

The Lanlan skewb is a hellspawn creature of torment. It falls apart quicker than a brick house held together by toothpaste. I will never get the three hours of life back when I just kept reassembling it and gaslit myself that it could be an adequate option. It is not. I blame the Lanlan skewb for every adversity in my life thereafter.

Short answer: YJ Zhilong 4x4

Story: This was my first 4x4. I bought it, and I had multiple small pops because I can only turn (way too) loose 4x4s. I got used to the pops, but it eventually exploded during a fast T perm.

I was unable to reassemble it, so I went online and shovelled money at DailyPuzzles so I could get a new Zhilong 4x4. Guess what: I got the same problem!

It's only thanks to @Curunír who encouraged me to get the mgc that I now have a 4x4 that is even close to being good.

The yuxin master pyraminx. It was new when i got it so i assumed it would be better than the qiyi and shengshou master pyraminx. Wrong, it turns super slow, cannot cornercut, and pops a lot + the pops are super hard to fix. On top of that, its super ugly.

I hated mine as well.

This cube is my main 4x4 . I'll admit, OOTB, it was pretty bad, but once you fix the tensions (mine were uneven) and lube it, the cube is great. I improved my average by a whole four seconds just from switching to it from the MGC, but to each their own, I guess.

A Squan would probably be good. Maybe a little overpriced, and I feel like there would be some problem with it but it would still overall be good
