Chapter 1, The Awakening.
I awoke in a dark cell. Where am I? The last I remember is SX-2 droids zapping me repeatedly trying to get me to tell them something... What was it? I feel guilty in the cell, as I lie on a small mattress in the corner of the dark dusty room. A key rattled in the lock, and the door opens. The figure in the door smirks at me. That wretched figure... I had seen him before, but where? Then I remembered. That same man had been in the room with the SX-2 droids... I backed away, afraid he might harm me. The man spoke,
"Not so high and mighty now. You're going to be staying here until you tell us the location of the resistance."
"No!" I said without thinking about what I was saying.
"They are all innocent weak people who want freedom!"
The man looked at me strangely.
"Red Nexus is an evil corrupted power that if we don't stop it, it could destroy the entire meaning of freedom. Look, kid," He suddenly sounded kinder, "I don't know how hard you hit your head, but I can get you a doctor."
