Hello Speedsolving.com! I mainly do 3x3OH and 3x3. For OH I averge around 25 and for 3x3 I average around 18. For 3x3 I use the salvia method which not many people use.

EDIT: I am also very interested in the 15 puzzle and I would like to see it become an event or have its own competitions that aren't associated with the WCA

Welcome @The Professor Cubers to the forums. It is great to have you here and I am glad that you have joined. It is nice to see someone that solves with a different method, (says the one that uses CFOP) :D.

Welcome! I've never heard of the Salvia method; could you explain? Thanks, and I hope you enjoy it on the forums!
The salvia method has 6 steps:
  • Line
  • first layer coners
  • middle layer edges
  • first layer edges
  • coll
  • ell
Basically you make a line if two pieces on the left then put 4 corners on the bottom
after that you want to complete the middle layer the put in the bottom 4 corners. this process can take 20-30 moves. Next you do coll and ell which is around 18 moves on average. This method does have a lower move count (a lucky solve could be ~28 moves) but you can't finger trick quite as fast as CFOP.
