I feel like there could be some way to zb roux like before cmll you do like an insert an edge or a corner into the right spot (equivalent to zbls) to limit a final alg and then only one for the rest of the cube. There might be a better alternative for the zbls equivalent tell me what you guys think.

guys hear me out for like the 7th time

What if we find a way to solve the cube into like this position (223 block with BR 2x2 block in this position), and then finish the 1st 2 layers while solving EO at the same time, ending the cube with ZBLL? We could get extremely easy cases like U/U'/U2/∅ R', but could also make certain cases slightly harder compared to ZBLS

Does anyone have any thoughts on this idea?

This could be a good idea i just wonder if it's gonna be less algs than ZBLS. Because if it's more algs, the method is slighlty worse than ZB. But i lowkey think this is a good idea. @CrossPetrus could gen the algs and check how many it is.

I’m pretty sure this is the same alg count as ZBLS

The 1x2x2 blocks are on the left and right sides of the cube right?

You solve them from pretty much whatever angle you want to but you put them in the back left and front left.

1. The 2x2x3 block and 1x1x2 block are already trying to be made by me and michael, so its not a new invention or anything
2. You have no expl on the block formation, so beginners are gonna get confused
3. (F2L-1)+EO is just ZBLS, and even VLS+PLL(237 ALGS) is better than ZBLL alone!

1. But it’s the idea of that 1x2x2 block being offset like that is new
2. Because I haven’t made it into a full method yet. This isn’t something to be learned as of now.
3 (1). The block is offset.
3 (2). VLS+PLL is not better than ZBLS+ZBLL. You have to set it up into a VLS case, which takes too many moves.

I actually made a method that did that, where you would have br in the fr slot, and 3 edges oriented. Then, you would fix f2l and orient the corners, leaving pll. But the algs are bad.

2. Acheron is the 17th hardest level in the game. Was the hardest level a few years ago
3. ZBLL (and the ZB method as a whole) is still viable. You just have to put a lot of practice and effort into it (which is what top cubers like Xuanyi Geng and Tymon Kółáśíńśķí did)
