The Alex Bohac Situation Is Crazy (nope, now its crazier)

Yes, I think we've all read something like that in the media. Unclear to me what evidence they found and where they found it, e.g., whether they found any on his devices. You made it sound like they did. Have you read that somewhere? And again, police and media might've made mistakes.

I think they were based on both.

Yes, I read this in the published reports. Have you read them yourself? It wasn't: accusation --> arrest and 17 charges. This was: reported --> search warrant --> discovering incriminating evidence --> arrest and charges.

I hope you can procure sympathy for the victim of this horrible situation, and possibly read up on the case before rushing to his defense.

Yes, I read this in the published reports.

Where, exactly? All I've seen them say about his devices is that they were seized. Where exactly did any say that evidence was found on them?

Have you read them yourself?

Yes.

Not sure why you're saying that. Nobody said it was accusation --> arrest and 17 charges.

I hope you can procure sympathy for the victim of this horrible situation, and possibly read up on the case before rushing to his defense.

Again not sure why you're saying that. I did read up on the case, I'm doing the opposite of rushing, and I'm not defending.

@pTr is a forum member on here who’s currently under investigation for some sort of pedo-crime
@pTr was talking with me and was the among the first to know that I had joined...but this guy was always weird and had me slightly concerned about what was being said, so I ignored him until he stopped trying to bother me...so yeah, he sounded insecure and a bit I dunno, but he had creepy vibes

Sorry? can I get a source on that?

here you go

25 more charges, investigators found he groomed 5 other people

Jeez... That's not good.
My heart breaks for the victims and their families.

OK he's cooked now. 840 years in prison?
No matter what crime they're guilty of, the average prisoner would be disgusted and angry at what he did.
I'm not even sure he'll last 5 years without being "unalived" by the other prisoners...

can people learn to be decent human beings?
If it were that easy would we need a justice system? There is a small proportion of the population that chooses evil and one of the reasons we have an organized society is that we have collectively decided some people need to be locked up

Are there any updates on whether he's been sentenced yet?
He hasn't been to trial, yet, so hasn't even been convicted, yet. This latest news is just announcing the 25 additional charges, adding to the initial 16 charges, making it 41 felony counts so far.
He's been sitting in jail for 4 months, held without bail, since his initial arrest and charges in Feb. Doesn't look like they've even set a trial date, yet.
