U' M' U M2 U' R' U' F R2 F' M' U' M U2 R' U'R - Meh 1x2x3 on right.
U' R U R' U L' U R U' L U2 R' - CMLL, duh. :P
U M U' M' U M2 U2 M' U M2 U M U2 M U2 M2 - L6E. I could've split up the EO and EP but they were both relatively quick.

Since this is only my 3rd day of experimenting with Roux my blockbuilding still sucks. But I'm very proud of how I've done so far with it and L6E. :D

Try not to use any F or B moves during the second block.
This will also be a roux speedsolve:

Scramble : U F2 U B' U2 L2 D U2 B R' U R L' B R F B U2 B2 F U2 B' L' D' L
Solution...

F U F D2
r' U' R U' L' U R U' x' R U' R U R' U2 R U R' U' r U R' U'
R U2 R' U' R U R' U' R U R' U' R U' R'
U M' U M' U2 M' U M' U' M U2 M U' M2 U M2 U2 M' U2 M

Great first block, rubbish second block. As usual.

One question : exactly why is it bad to use F or B in the second block?? Well, B is almost always bad IMO, so maybe just F is in question here.

I've still never done a Roux speedsolve. Is it just that they're bad to use in speedsolves?

y'
r U2 r' F U' L R y L' U L
R U' R U R' U' R M' U' y M' U2 M y' - Derp. Couldn't resist the easy CE pairs.
U R U R' U L' U R U' L U2 R' - Same COLL as last time O.o
M' U' M' U M U M' U2 M U M2 U M' U2 M U2 M2

y M' U2 M in the second block is very slow. S' U2 S in that case wouldve been faster with nicer visibility. And it is a nice transition into CMLL. It can be executed as (F B') R2 (F' B)
Which is much faster.

F and B can be used occasionally but for now, I suggest absolutely no breaking of the first block.
Later on you will get a feel of when and when not to break the block.

Edit: actually, in your situation I would execute it as S' U2 S.
Also, try to blockbuild rather than use F2L strategies.

Edit again: for the second block I would've done:
r R U b U2 b' etc
Just to avoid the weird S insertion :)

Thanks for the tips, 5BLD. Beginners like me never understand. :P

Good.

Yes. I edited my post to show my solves and then put in the animation of yours just because that solve made me go "OMGWTFLOLBBQ"

And since I'm already posting and I didn't put this in my other post :

Yes; I love simultaneous blockbuilding lol.
Even making a little step before blocks to influence them both... Or phasing during first block? Would that make it zeroing? Better not start a discussion on second thought. That was just a glint of my curiousity.

Your solve was better this time :)
Try to use more double-layer moves than F moves to insert asthey are much faster.
Can't be bothered to do another one...

Hey, so whats your average move count for the first two blocks? I do like 26 moves.

Since you haven't posted a new scramble, I will :)

L2 U' R D2 R2 B R' U' L2 R' D R' F L' F D2 F U F D' L B U L' D'

If it weren't for the 8 bad edges this could have been a nice CF solve: just an OLL away from all corners oriented :)

I like my EO at the start so here goes LOL-ZZ:

premove F orients 4 edges (+1)
U' L2 B L' D' makes EO line (5+1)
U L' R U2 L U L2 makes pseudo ( L2 ) left side (12 +1)
U R U' R2 U' R makes pseudo F2L (18 + 1)
B U2 B2 U' B2 U' B2 U2 B U' pseudo OLL (28 + 1)
F' L F' R2 F L' F' R2 F2 is just an A-perm for pseudo PLL (37 + 1)
L2 F undo pseudoness (39)

Next: B' F' R2 D2 F' D2 F' U2 F U2 L2 R B D U L F L' R2 D U
Very nice for FMC as demonstrated by the 5 sub 30 HTM solutions during the Swedish :)
