TangLong Suddenly Slow

Hey everyone,

I'm a sub-30 solver with my main being a TangLong, and it has suddenly gone absolutely awful. I picked it up the other day, after solving with it a few hours earlier with no problems, and it was really slow. Like, I'm talking about getting on Rubik's brand slow. Yep. Slow. I took all the pieces out, wiped them, and put it back together. Lubed the pieces with Weight 1. No difference. I also loosened it, and no change.
It still corner cuts fine, so I don't think it has suddenly gone very tight.

Does anyone know what has happened?
Has anyone else had this problem?

I have 2 tanglongs. Exactly the same thing happened to me with both of them (they were amazing and suddenly got slow).

I cleaned and re-lubed them, no difference. I loosened the tension, this made it worse, plus the risk of popping.
Short story I was never able to 'restore' either cube to original functioning and they are now useless, I am afraid.

The only fix to this I could think of is getting replacement hardware.

Happen to me too but happened to some of my other cubes as well.

I haven't been really cleaning the cubes thoroughly and I think that's the problem.

Thankyou everyone for your replys.

It's a shame, but I'm getting the new WeiPo GTS coming on Pre-Order, so I'm looking forward to them.
