In Sweden we are at the moment running a school championship. This is a (inofficial) competition for kids in grades 7-12. In total we had 200 competitors in the qualification competitions organized by the schools.

Of those the top 25 has qualified for the national final that will be held on the 14th. Averages for the finalists range from 14 to 44s.

The entire competition is organized by Alega, the Swidish importer of Rubik's products. Qualification results for all below 60s can be found on http://www.rubiks.se/html/kvalresultat.html

Too bad Jumbo (Holland) is too stupid to invest in their most popular product, instead they invest all their budget into the bloody ''Revolution''.
Pfft... the Revolution is like Dracula, it sucks all the life out of you and your battery.

Jumbo (Germany) invests alot into the Rubik's Cube and their sales went up and they get more publicity!

Got a bad average in the qualification :p didn't concentrate. I'll do better in the Finals :D can't wait!

Oh yeah.. 200 competitiors. On Swedish open there were around 70 people competing ;)

There where to major surprises in the finals, ending in a win by Simon Westlund.

The final resutls can be found on http://rubiks.se/html/filnalresultat.html
The first table contains the averages for the final round. The first link goes to an excel sheet with the times for all competitors in the first round.

The second table and link is sorted according to best single time. Based on the same solves as the averages.

Of the 25 qualified competitors, four could not come to the finals. Fortunatley we managed to get four replacements who could come on short notice.
