Hey guys i wanted to get into oh, but my tc is way to big. I cut out paper templates of 50 mm cubes, and they are still too big that my finger has to stretch to reach R'. I finally found a shengshou linglong, which was the only mini cube, smaller than 55 mm in the philippines. Is this cube good for oh? Its still a bit to big for me, i bet if it were smaller by 1.5 mm it would be perfect, but it is already so small of a cube (46mm). Maybe i could sand it? Also, how would i preserve the stickers? (There are almost no stickers in the philippines, only 57 mm ones). Thanks!
Edit: i dont have it yet, i only have a paper template.

I started OH on a 30mm keychain cube, because I thought my hands were small and my 54.5 mm cube felt massive. Within a week of practice, suddenly the 54.5mm cube seemed alright. Then I saw a 10 year old at a comp with tiny hands using a full size cube for OH and realised its not the size of the cube at all. After a bit of practice, a 56mm cube felt reasonable and now I can even comfortably turn a 57mm cube, although I still use the 56 as my main.

What I'm saying is that you can't reach because you need to find your right grip and learn how to move and stretch your fingers, not because the cube is too big.

The thing is, the 46 mm cube is the ONLY mini cube i could find. All others were 56 and 57 mm. And those are really WAY to big, even with the right grip. Thanks for the info tho!

I'm saying you don't need a mini cube. My hands haven't grown. You should persevere with the big cube even though it's difficult. It feels way too big only because you're not used to it. I promise, with practice, unless you're 5 years old, a 57mm cube is not too big for you.

Maybe buy a 42mm Zhanchi (stickerless).

I guess 55 is a good compromise. :(

I have the hands of a 5 year old. Im 12 so meh. Also my tc is too unstable for oh. It flexes to much. 55 mm seems to be a good enough compromise
