I didn't talk unless they aked me, but most of the sicilian people don't speak english (I am actually Hungarian, I was there on a vacation too). I just made 222-333-444-OH-Pyraminx solves. And sometimes I made an 555, Megaminx solve, but those are a bit too long to maintain the attention of people.

Good point. Actually there were 2 little boys on a bicycle who seemed to be planning to steal the hat, but my brother stood next to them so they didn't try.

In the Netherlands you get fined immediately (about 200 $) , a cuber visiting us got fined after sitting 15 min cubing with a sign to raise money for his study . ... So not all countries you can just work a street artist . In The Netherlands you need a permit....

Most of the sicilian people don't really keep themselves to rules (you can see that in the traffic too). There were policemen 2 times right next to me, but they didn't care at all asking for my permission.
