First post, Star wars. Ignores speedcubing altogether

I want to listen to the music. It sounds quite nice already.

Yeah, it's a shame that the Japanese trailer seems to be the only one with completely original music (starting at 0:45), all the other trailers use music taken straight out of the originals, or remixed them. I mean don't get me wrong, the original trilogy's music is a fantastic part of pop culture and all, but I wanna hear more of John Williams materful work!

Anyway, About the actual film- I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm very excited, don't get me wrong, but I also acknowledge that the prequel movies were pretty bad, and J.J. Abrahms, while a good fit for this movie, isn't exactly my favourite director. So I'm trying not to be completely drowned in hype, at fear that I'll just be disappointed.

Still, I have my tickets for the midnight screening. Mainly because I want to see it before any of my peers so I don't get spoiled, but also excitement of a new Star Wars film. I'm only human, after all.

Huh. I've never seen the Japanese one. It's quite different. Good point about not being too hyped.
