Hey people, was jsut hoping someone had a nice link to a tutorial for ADVANCED square -1 methods, And inform me of which is most used and suggestions are welcomed. I just learned how to solve it using a very long ass method from Thrawst over YT, I'm happy I can solve it but now I want to imroove my times and possibly eventually master the puzzle before Fall,

Also, I'm going to be buying puzzles soon on teh internetz and I was wondering what Sq-1 I should buy, the one I have is pretty mediocre, it jams a **** load.

Thanks alot! :D

The method Thrawst teaches has a very high move count and it's hard to get really fast at. I would recommend Emile1's tutorial, which is Vandenbergh's method using 4 algs.

For getting faster I recommend Woner's EO/CP/EP videos as well as his advanced cubeshape tutorial. If you want to learn some random EPs, I have a full list of them here.

You definitely want to go with the Vandenbergh method. Sub30 is achievable in a very short period of time if you work really hard.

Lol, I'm so slow at Sq-1...
4 algs and a 1:30 avg of 5!

Also, If you use a rubik's Square-1 on my youtubve I have a tutorial and disassembling and reassembling it and this made mine very fast... Just a thought :)

the advanced cubeshape video is reccomended by me. ever since i learned this, i wondered why i spent hours trying to get comfortable with edge grouping.
