Square-1: The V2 cames out a few years ago. I got the puzzle during the summer of 2021 (last summer, basically) fully magnetic, and never gave a proper review for the puzzle.
-Specs: The cubes comes at 54 mm wide and 55.5 mm tall, making it easier to handle than it's competitor at the time, the YLM. It weighs 85 grams, and had a smooth plastic feel unboxing it.
-Unboxing: Out of the box, the puzzle was really slow and clunky, U/D layers. I even wondered how people could main a slow puzzle. I didn't really use it up to the point of the last two months. Without proper set-up, the puzzle still is not that bad, but not that good, either. I put weight-5 in the core and lubed the pieces/centers with dignitas, DNM and Mystic. The puzzle is really smooth now, nothing compared to last summer,
-Pros: The puzzle has really light turning. The Slice is really fast and U/D are at a moderate speed that I can control.
-Cons: The puzzle tends to lock up at times, due to its anti-pop design. I never had the issue of pieces breaking, but I know it can happen.
-Overall thoughts: The Volt is my main, but there are better square-1s at the time of the review. You have the MGC, which I have never tried, and hope to be able to use during the summer or after sub-15. The Volt's speed matches it's troublesome of cornercutting, but as long as accurate turning occurs, then the issue shouldn't pop up too often. I would recommend this puzzle if you want a decent square-1. You have to set it up, but it is better than almost all square-1s.
So that is my review. Tell me what you think, and yeah, see you in the next review.

Nice review. Personally I've tried to setup the volt time after time, and it's always been to slow for me. Definitely save for the MGC, it's miles better

the Qiyi is nice, wish it were magnetic though.

I really like the MGC, the Xman locks up and the U/D layers turn like 1/4 of the speed as the slice layer. it's a very inconsistent feeling cube.

I wish MGC had a stickered version.

Waiting to try the Yuxin magnetic, (Tingman said it's a good one.)

You fixed it, right? Or is it still in pieces in a little zip lock bag?
