If you want to do mods then don’t do Aternos and I don’t think you can do mods in a hypixel SMP server. Only option is to buy a license to a server or set up one (not sure of requirements) and use that.

Not true. If you buy Java you get bedrock but if you buy bedrock you DON’T get Java. This is because bedrock edition is the main version of Minecraft, not Java.

Assuming you're talking about PC only, You can't buy them separately anymore. It's a package deal. If you originally bought one before the change, you get the other. Plain and simple.

It would be great if you could join on the launch day, but if you can't that's okay! Also, I'm only going to be able to play on weekends as well, so there's a good chance that the server will be closed during the week.
