Speedcubing Megaminx?

Hi,
i just wanted to ask ya'll if you bought the megaminx from cube4you? the 5$ one. it's pretty cheap in my opinion, is it any good?
i know the one's from mefferts were the best...but what about these?

It's bad, I can barely do sub-2 on mine, though that polish guy who is doing 1:35/1:40 (dunno his name sorry) has one of these, I'd say wait for mefferts to restock which rumors say will be around christmas...

I have one of the chinese ones and they're not good at all. My best time is only 2:46 but I'll be able to try a meffert's this weekend. Then I'll see what my true megaminx abilities are. And I just can't wait until christmas.

Of course, but that's not isomorphic to speedcubing.

Don't buy it, they are horrible. The colors are hard to distinguish and they turn horrible. When I first received them, it took alot of force to turn the sides. The edges were literally cutting my hand. I guess if you really want to play with one, but not speedsolve it, then get it. It IS cheap.

It would be wrong to ask you not to buy the cube4you.com megaminxes.I know they are very bad for the really fast solvers but for beginners like me I think it is worth the money after a bit of sanding and lubing.

I got one and it works... I mean I can get sub 3 on it without any modifications. The colors aren't hard to distinguish at all for me and I would say buy one to play with and then if you want to, get a meffert's when they come out.
