Speed tuttminx or rayminx

Even though some said that these puzzles are hard to find, I have some what found both of them in different shops. Should I get the speed tuttminx or the rayminx?

Speed tuttminx:
Price: $53 (assembled including shipping)

Rayminx:
Price: $111 (assembled and stickered including shipping)

Although TBH, the Tuttminx would be more practical, and I gotta imagine that the Rayminx turns pretty badly.

Actually I focus on the solve rather than its appearance.
As from what I know, both turn well but the speed tuttminx turns exceptionally well.
Also thinking if I have room to put this beast, as the rayminx is even larger than a moyu 21x21 and yuxin 17x17

That's surprising that it turns well. As for the space issue, just have it as the centerpiece at your table. Maybe put some candles around it for a nice ambiance.

But my table is already full of disassembled puzzles for magnetisation
Also if I get a speed tuttminx or a rayminx, I may look into the internal mechanism and see if it is possible to be magnetised.

Both the puzzles sound foreign to me, I would suggest getting both of them.

If I really want to attempt in magnetising one of them, I think the rayminx is pretty much impossible to be magnetised as the pieces are so tiny and it has multiple layers.

Actually the rayminx is like a 5x5 version of the tuttminx, in case you are not very familiar with these beasts.

I've got both. If you're looking for playability then I highly recommend the Speed Tuttminx. Very well designed and easy to use, plus the solve doesn't take terribly long. The GigaTuttminx is a very impressive puzzle but it takes a long time to scramble well (about 45 minutes) and very long to solve, over 7 hours of hands on time for me. It's not terribly difficult, but it's also not something that you'll be picking up and solving before bed one night.

Yes, but I just realised that when it is delivered, how should I explain to my parents?
1. "I'm going to use it to compete in comp"
2. "I'm buying it using the money from selling my cubes"
3. "Its just a speed tuttminx, not rayminx"
