I don't know why but I decided to try a solve my 3x3x3 in the mirror this morning.

The rules: No looking directly at the cube at any time... not even during inspection. Only look at the cube in the mirror!

Inspection and F2L felt pretty weird with every movement being inverted. OLL and PLL probably aren't too bad because it's just case recognition and execution. I was lucky and had symetrical OLL + PLL cases so there was no ambiguity during the recognition.

I didn't time myself but how fast can you solve the cube in a mirror?

You may find it fun, frustrating or just plain stupid!

I wonder how fast people might get with practice. I was going to ask if anyone could get sub-30 but I thought that might be a bit much to ask initially. That's why I asked for sub-60. :)

Trying to get 3x your normal average would probably take a fair bit of practice. Trying to get 2x would take a lot of practice (I'd imagine) but should be possible.

Probably not worth the time investment for a novelty game though!

I imagine sub 10 is possible.
