Many people have done these, so I though I’d give it a shot

I started cubing about 6 months ago, so my times may not be that great.

Here’s what I average in the events I do:

2x2:
// Average: about 4.5 seconds.
// Method: CLL, although I did just learn it not too long ago, and still have the anti-sune set to learn.
// Main: Gan 249 v2, non-magnetized.
// Goal: Sub-3

3x3:
// Method: CFOP, advanced F2L, 2-look OLL, and full PLL.
// Average: High 15’s.
// Main: Tornado v2.
// Goal: Sub-10 by the end of 2023.

4x4:
//Method: Yau, 3-2-3 edge pairing.
// Average: ~1:25 minutes.
// Main: YJ MGC 4x4.
// Goal: Sub-1.

Square-1:
// Average: Sub-50
// Method: No clue. I’ll describe it, and hopefully someone can help me figure out what I use: CS, solve top and bottom face, orient edges, and “PLL”.
// Main: YJ MGC SQ-1.
// Goal: Sub-30. I did just start SQ-1 about 2-3 weeks ago, so it might be quite hard to get sub-30 anytime soon.

Pyraminx:

//Method: Have no clue.
// Average: About 15 seconds, but I never practice.
// Main: Some QiYi pyraminx.
// Goal: None.

And and every advice is always appreciated.

OMG you've been cubing for a month less than me and are so much faster than me! (except for Pyra lol)
Also I would guess the method you use for Pyra is LBL considering that's the main beginner method.

Haha, thanks. Yeah, I don’t really practice Pyra, the tips annoy me.

Well, this is heart-breaking. I got the most insane and luckiest Square-1 scramble I’ve ever seen. I might have mis-scrambled, but that’s beside the point. It was Kite/Kite, so one slice away from a cube shape. Then I got the easiest EO case, it was just an M2. And then, a SKIP for edge orientation. I just had to flip the equator. But then my cube locked up, took like 3-5 seconds to fix it, and when I stopped the timer, a new PB, 18 secs. Terrible, cause this easily could have been a sub-15 for me.

Oh, and the cherry on top. I DNFed the solve

Pyraminx is easy, try to pick it up first and improve on it.

Well, a little update. I was averaging about 50 seconds on SQ-1 when I made this thread, and now I magically average low 30s...

I got like a 26 ao12 while averaging like 35 lol. Squan is a cool event.

Got a 4x4 PB single of 1:01.43, barely beating my previous PB of 1:02.xx. Also got PB Ao5 (2.85) and Ao12 (3.42) on 2x2. Got a PB Ao100 for 3x3 as well; 14.88 seconds. I've never passed the sub-15 Ao100 barrier, so that was nice. For SQ-1 I got (also) a PB Ao100 of 33.95.

Got a PB Ao100 for 2x2, finally breaking the sub-4 barrier. Current PB Ao100 is 3.99, old one was 4.09.
