That draw your attention :D

SOS; Save OLL Slot, one alg add on method:

Setup: R U R' F' U2 F

Now look at the LL pices that are sitting in the slot and the corner above the slot (ignore the rest), if you solve the pair using R U' R' you will split that block and have the edge unoriented in OLL.

This is where you use SOS, three moves to save the block: F' U2 F.

The block may be three pices like in the example but it may also be two, edge and corner down or corner up. Really easy to spot.

You can add up more cases but then it is getting slow because you have to look for the case, save that for OLL, use it only when you see the situation on the fly.

If you save a corner and a edge like that you will have one EO skip in 4, a CO skip in 9 and OLL skip is 1:36. If you save a three pice block, then edges are still 1:4 but corners will be 1:3 and OLL 1:12!

Also something similar I do once in a while is:

Setup R U2 L' U R' U' L

Now the normal ways of solving the pair would break 1x2x2 on top (or disorient edges), but you can solve it by L' U R U' L U2 R' to preserve everything.
