Last weekend I noticed that it doesn't really matter how good you are at 5x5x5. It is more important to choose which competition you will visit. I got my personal best at Benelux Open 2008 and was really happy, but I was "only" 7th.
Norwegian Open 2008: I would have won,
Kearny Kardinal competition 2008: 2nd
Montpellier Open 2008: 2nd
EPGY California Open 2008: 3rd
Indian Open 2008: 2nd behind Bernett if there would have been 5x5x5
