Solved the 2x2 on your own

Hello Everyone
I was just wondering how many 3x3 speed cubers have solved the 2x2 without the help of internet (ie videos,guides or articles etc).
Is it something difficult or am i the only one who is not able to figure it out ????

It is if you do it in 10 seconds or faster

A 2x2x2 is obviously a 3x3x3 without edges, so all you have to do is omit the steps designed to solve the edges. This isn't an efficient method, but if you are trying to figure out how to solve it, it is the logical solution.

yeah..as you how to solve it..just need logical thinking to solve the 2x2x2 cube, then you can figure out that it is more easy than 3x3..

It took me me a while but a then I treated it like a edgeless 3x3. I was 11 back then it was 2009

I solved the 2x2 by using a beginner 3x3 method. and that 3x3 method came from a book.

I solved 222 without knowing how to do 333 because I could get the 1st layer and just repeated sune/niklas from different angels until it was solved.

I had discovered sune/niklas on 333 but I never entirely solved 333 by myself without a method that I learned from somebody else

Surely he means without knowing how to solve the 333. I worked out how to solve 222 - 777 on my own without instructions. I used a complex corners, then edges method for last layer of 333. For higher order cubes I did layer by layer. It was very inefficient.

I actually considered knowing already the 3x3 but after seeing the posts i came to know its a trivial thing to solve the 2x2
anyway edgeless 3x3 was enough for me to realize how to solve 2x2 and i did it finally.

Or you could use petrus.. jk but for real, do it like a 3x3 without edges. Using CFOP you can get to ~10 with little effort.
