slippery QJ megaminx

I searched the forum but didn't find anything about it, if i missed it....then sorry for posting this:rolleyes:.

I got my QJ Megaminx from Popbuying in the mail today and its got a slippery feel to it. It seems this is normal since I've seen several videos on Youtube about the slippery feeling of the QJ Megaminx right out of the box. Is there a way to get rid of that feeling or does it go away after a few solves?:confused:

I'm guessing he means slippery on the outside, I got a QJ from ebay (face palm) and it was kind of like slippery on the outside. On the inside some of the parts were stuck together...

anyway, just wash it in warm water or something, not the core because of the springs. After that just lube yourself.

Yes I mean on the outside. As far as pieces stuck together, I haven't had that problem with it.
