Well I think its kinda wierd.
At morning my cube turns a bit hard just not that smooth at afternoon its awesone and evening still nice.
But today in school i was like wtf?
The cube turned so extremly easy O.o.
Made one U R and directly popout again i was like wtf?
The cube was just under my bank for some minutes and then.
Later the cube turned amazingly smooth.
I think I poped out a piece to show a friend what a cube looks like from the inside mabye some fresh air or I dunno lol made it smoother?
Now its still really really smooth and good like he never was before.
What do you think?

From my experience, a cube lubed with silicone turns easier as the temperature increases. If you leave your cube in your car on a very hot day, and then cube with it, it will turn very smoothly. If you cube on a very cold day, the cube feels hard and sluggish.

Again, I am no chemist and don't even know if the temperature thing is true with silicone or lubricants in general. But from my experience with cubing I have noticed this consistently. Cubing in higher temperaturs makes the cube turn much more smoothly.

like..
at higher temperatures, the maxwell-boltzmann distribution curve shifts to the right; the average kinetic energy of silicone (lol) molecules increases. Thus more of them will have the minimum energy to break the intermolecular forces (London dispersion forces?) between the molecules. Hence less force is needed to turn the faces of the cube as less energy is required for the silicone molecules to overcome the IMF(intermolecular forces)?
gah i threw everything back to my chemistry teacher =P maybe this is completely wrong =P
