Show n tell !

I don't claim to be a master of the English language, but since it's an oral presentation, I thought I'd help you iron out some things :)

Good morning Ms Zubaidah and my fellow friends,I am Glenn and today I am going to do a presentation on the sport of speedcubing.

I started playing around with the Rubik’s Cube in march earlier this year and soon after that,I was striving to get faster and faster and before I knew it,I was into the sport of speedcubing. Speedcubing enhances one's finger dexterity, visual coordination and memory.

Speedcubing is a fun sport you can play without breaking into much of a sweat and,as the name suggests, speedcubers are people who take solving the Rubik’s Cube to a higher level by attempting to solve it in the least time possible. One notable speedcuber would be the consistent world record holder,Yu Nakajima whom broke the world record earlier this year at a amazing time of 8.72 Seconds. Speedcubing is a sport enhances finger dexterity, visual coordination and memory. Why repeat?

I,like many speedcubers, practice daily in order to maintain and improve my skills.I personally cube whenever I have nothing to do such as in the afternoon while watching TV or just spending about an hour or so speedcubing. With regular practice,my time has gone down from about 2 minutes to under 35 seconds on average.

Speedcubing is also a very unique sport and is sure to attract much attention when you form groups in the public and start speedcubing

oh i forgot to cancel it,hahaz.thnks for notifying me

.I remember once when I was invited by SAFRA for a cubing demonstration at Changi Airport Terminal 3 during the June holidays and by spending just 3 hours there,we attracted about 20 people who came to us to learn more about the rubik’s cube and some even bought a cube at the shop behind us and we started teaching them the basics.

Speedcubing, which has died down for a decade or so,is now a popular sport
people enjoy. This is due to the widespread of online tutorials such as Dan Brown’s tutorial on popular video sharing website Youtube.com which attracted over 6 million views and his video has since won the Best Instructional Video Award on Youtube.

I feel that it is important for everyone to be involved in at least one sport so you can
have something meaningful to do rather than just staying at home surfing the net aimlessly (you got a problem with my hobby? :p).

In my opinion and contrary to widespread belief, one need not be a mathematical genius to be able to solve the cube, the beginner method only requires you to memorize 4 simple algorithms laymen usually prefer the word "formulae" and can be easily done so in less than 30 minutes.

I think you should also mention the different sizes of cubes, that the regular is 3x3x3 and we now got cubes up to 7x7x7.
If you use powerpoint you can also mention different puzzles likes megaminx and square-1.

Another thing would be the ways of solving, like one-handed and blindfolded.

didnt get called today ! i think will be on 2 days later cause tmr no school.
E-learning day haha.

imma going to do a demo solve,to make it 3mins,and the typical criticize people ask me to solve also so i think itz okay

yeah i finished it ! i think i got nearly full marks, maintained eye contact throughout, and the last solve according to the teacher was 33 seconds.after e presentation when she said "now that was less than a minute" i tot the presentation was sub 1 O_O scared me !

actually the teacher grading in e afternoon was better, gave higher marks, should have got the luck to drag to afternoon haha !

yay !!! lol. it was sub 28 solve actually, she said she started counting when the scrambled cube was passed to me i inspected it for roughly 8 secs.
