Should I go to 2LPLL

I learned badmephisto's 2LOLL in less than 2 days and I can comfortably perform all the algorithms when they appear as I am trying to solve the cube. My question is should I drill the algorithms for a couple of more days or should I go ahead and look at 2LPLL?

If you really wanted, you could get away with learning 2 PLLs: Corner swap and edge swap. The reason they don't teach this though is because it turns "two looks" (steps) into (often) more steps. You learn two CPLLs (Permute Corners of Last Layer) because there are two corner swap cases. They can be swapped adjacently or oppositely. You could just learn the adjacent corner swap though, but you will have to do it twice for when you have oppositely permuted corners.

This is the same for EPLL (permute edges, LL). There are 4 cases. 3 edge cycle clockwise or counter clockwise, a two cycle adjacent edges swap (Z), or two cycle opposite edge swap (H). You can get away with just learning one of the U cases and use it to solve all of those, but you would have to do that minimum 2 times for H and Z, and twice if you don't learn the other U case (which is just the exact inverse of the one you learned).

So in short: You could learn 2 algs to learn a "pseudo" 2LPLL. The reason though that you learn 6 is because it makes more sense (you don't repeat algs, might as well do commutators at that point since the standard ones are faster).

I hope that makes sense.

Oh, and the "what to do if only two corners are wrong" thing is never really the case. When you have headlights, you have a 3 cycle for corners. Only one corner is "right" if you were to use a single algorithm that does not affect the edges. T perm affects Corners + Edges.
