It removes the clicking mechanism that prevents most of the time the misalignments since it's not a ball core, but a similar to the 333 core.

There is more than 30 pieces to sand down.

See in my video :

How much just for the pins done? ie No sanding, no stickers, no breaking in.
The pins are only there to compensate the clicking mechanism. If I don't sand down the megabumbs on inner edge that fits on an arm of the core and if I don't sand down the little bumbs on small inner pieces that fits around each end of the arms of the core, there will be the normal intense clicking mechanism. It would only prevents misalignment almost completely.

The purpose of the mod is to first get rid of the clicks, then find a way to keep the core aligned so you can turn your cube normally. If you don't want to pieces sanded down, pins are almost useless. (PM me, we could arrange something). :)

Could i have the pins soldered and cube sanded how much would that be??
Around 20-25$ + Shipping (I won't make any profit off shipping, I'll give you options for your destination, you choose it :))

Lol. I'm aware of the mod, I was just wondering how much it would be with just the pins.
I can Dremel the bumps off myself no worries, but have the most terrible luck keeping pins in. I have 2 V6s that have never kept the pins, and already have a semi modded YJ4. I only sanded half the bumps, just to make the clicking less intense (but still have the click to prevent misallignments.)

James.

Well, it would not be complicated. Let's do a trade maybe. I do the mod for a cube of yours? Or cash would be ok too.

Almost everything, breaking in the center pieces is very important since it's not easily solvable if you don't take the time to make the ''rails''.

As I said, I make larger and longer pins so the mechanism never misalign, it's hard to turn at first, and then it works wonder.

But seriously, it's the same price.
