well, I got a lubix elite from cameron back in december and i think that its just not my favorite cube anymore. Im taking offers but seeing as they are selling for 100 new i was hoping to get around 60+ (free shipping)

Almost every Elite sells for anywhere from $60-$120 on Ebay. Even if it is used i dont see how that would diminish its cost. It still is an elite and the more you use it the better it gets! Personally i would hold on to it because people with elites are rare and its to me an honor to have a Elite in my hand. But its your choice.

I have an Elite, with anchors. I don't think I'll ever sell it unless someone offers me an offer I can't resist, just because it's an Elite, which is a pretty famous cube. I know that more and more of them are being made, but it's still a cool cube to have around. In addition to the fact that it's a great cube to use.

fastcubesolvers elite used to be mine. Eventually it just gets to the point where it doesn't feel as if it's a good cube anymore. It slows down dramatically, it pops a lot. It just isn't good in my opinion after thousands of solves. Thus I gave mine away (just because I'm nice).

I would say the same thing but Donovan still hasn't gotten around to making one for me... Even though he has said he will.

It never pops with the anchors, and seeing as how you never cleaned the core(at least it looked like you didn't), it seems like it could have much more potential that you think.

i'm with you, donovan even asked to buy mine back from me at nats because it was one of the first sum he had made and he really liked it. but i doubt i'll ever sell it.

hmm wow. Even if you stop speedcubing altogether? I dont think I would go that far I think I would sell mine if i knew I was never going to do it again. Mostly because it seems like a waste of a rare, good cube that should stay with someone who is still competing

Well probably by the time i quit cubing i there will be a lot more of them made or even a better cube so yeah. If that situation comes up where I want to sell it and it's still worth something then i would but my liking of it now is far more than my thoughts on getting rid of my baby
