The lube kits that include Silk are still in stock, so maybe they have some left set aside just for the bundles so you could possibly get Silk from there

Okay! So I went to work today and can verify:

We have a small reserve of Silk left, and the bundle WILL include Silk.
But just enough for the stock of the bundle!

Once the bundle goes out of stock, so will our reserve of Silk.

I'll be working on a replacement for Silk, but it's pretty darn difficult without proper instrumentation.
I do however have an interesting development coming very soon, and I hope everyone will like it.

I know it's a trade secret and all, but if it's discontinued anyway . . . I'm really curious as to what the hard-to-source ingredient(s) is/are. Is it something that could be synthesized economically? Or is it used for another application, so with a contact in the right industry you could purchase some extra? What kind of quantities are you talking about? A few ounces? Gallons? Semi tankers? Sorry for lots of questions. I'm not trying to pry, I just like my bottle of silk, and I hate to think it could be the last I can get of it.

Yep! It's a tricky one, I don't want to release it prematurely.

The trouble is even synthesizing it. As a chemist, I know that if I could get my hands on the process, it's 100% economical.
I don't have the proper instrumentation to identify the precursors, which sucks!

Yep! It's use in other applications, and we no longer have the contact to purchase it.
As for quantities, we've only had a few liters at any given time.
