Ryder Cup of Rubik's Cube

[teddyman1331]

I was watching the Ryder Cup this weekend and thought about how cool it would be if there was one for cubing. There would be a team from USA and a team from Europe competing in all sorts of events, and in unique ways like factory solve, head-to-head, etc. Expanding on the idea, there could also be a Presidents Cup sort of competition, where it is USA vs. the rest of the world (other than Europe). It is really just a fun idea that came to me, and any suggestions are appreciated!

Ideas like these have been thought of 100s of times. After discussion, people realize how useless it is considering we have worlds and nationals for many countries, so let's just say no.

No thanks, we would rather compete against Asia or Australia where people aren't so slow

[Part of the Ryder Cup is trash talking the opponent, right?]
