[WR] Ryan Patricio OH 14.80 single

The only thing that looked wrong here was the beginning - the judge put a card between Ryan and the cube and then took it back away. It would appear Ryan had a look at the cube before she put the card there, so it would seem something was improper about the beginning. But it's hard to be sure what exactly happened, since we can't see what happened before the beginning of the video. And since Ryan only took about 7 seconds to inspect, I doubt that it's any kind of problem with the validity of the solve.

oh i think i see what he means now. Ryan only inspects the cube with OH when we are allowed 2h now. but that doesnt mean the regulations havent changed.. maybe he just likes to inspect the cube with OH cause he's used to it. most people do probably since we have done it for so long anyway.

Finally found the video for this WR! :)

Woo hoo! 3 cheers for PLL skip! lol

I wonder how long it will take till this is beaten?

No reaction heh ;[

Good job tho..

well look at his reaction last time he got the WR for OH single solve:

apparently he's not a very emotional guy.

compare to dan dzoan's OH WR reaction:

quite the opposites

I don't know what you are thinking, but it is not something illegal.

Ryan Patricio is very cool/relaxed by nature. Just look at his outfits (coat+headwear) and his total lack of movement (except the hand)

Okay glad to hear that :)

I was thinking maybe it was something... ya know... drug related..

which i remind everyone, that it is very WRONG and STUPID btw.

No no no, no drugs!

But at the US Open last year he needed help finding his hotel room (don't know if he ever found it), acted almost as relaxed as a zombie the next morning, walked onto the stage and just when I thought he would fall asleep, he started solving that cube in an incredible pace. (both one-handed and two-handed).

At Worlds, almost the same thing happened so I guess that's his style.

yeah, at the OH final at Worlds, they called him like twice or 3 times...

when he finally got there, he said "wasn't it 2:30? I thought it was...I didn't even practice..."

and...

he just got there and beat the WR...lol :D
